A Streamlined Kitchen
Kitchens can be beautiful and practical. Dropping the ceiling in this new-construction unit allowed for simple recessed lighting and speakers that connected to the unit's entertainment system. All appliances were fully integrated into custom cabinetry while adding additional storage to the kitchen's island. A projector sits inside of a compartment above the fridge—projecting entertainment upon the solar shades when needed.

A Tidy Workspace
Adjacent to the kitchen, a floating Vitsoe unit was installed in the hall—highlighting the newly bleached oak floors while allowing a welcoming and open entrance into the home. This floating unit also housed additional storage for knick-knacks, books and more.
Dining in Natural Light
Moving the dining area off the unit's balcony allowed for inside/outside entertaining in the warmer months. It also allowed for dining in natural light.
The new foyer features a pair of flush, floor-to-ceiling, symmetrical closets that gave the unit expansive storage while remaining invisible with minimal hardware and matching paint. The bedroom door transformed from a push-door into a pocket door that tucks behind the foyer closet.
Letting the Light In
The entire unit had floor-to-ceiling windows. Transparent white solar shades were installed for privacy while also allowing natural light to shine through.
